Work in Progress for NEOS

Having been working on the Doric Delft and other, smaller wares, I decided that I needed to get into making my larger work for NEOS.  I have decided on continuing the Scottish theme with these figures.  Here is what I have done so far:

Laying out clay slabs to stiffen

Cutting out bases of feet

Forming shoes using coils and slabs

Smoothing; first with a metal kidney and then with a rubber kidney

Patterns on the Ghillie Brogues

Ready to be loosely wrapped and left overnight to become leather hard
